Formic Acid  60%

Pharmaceutical form : Liquid

Target Species: honey bee

Indications:

It is used to combat the Varroa destructor in honey bee colonies with and without brood.

Since Varroa destructor causes:

• Decreased flight efficiency in infected males
• Loss of protein level and loss of blood volume in insects ,This causes the bee sect to collapse
• Decrease the average life of the whole insect
• Transmission of viral and bacterial diseases

Withdrawal period for honey: None

Special storage conditions : Store in a cool, dry place (below 25 ° C).

How to use :

•  Medicated strips  :

Soak a strip (sponge or burlap  or other) using 30 ml of Mofed Bee , then raise it and place a strip at the density of bees above the hive. For 10 days and then they are removed and put another strip for an additional ten days.
Or put two strips  apart for 14 days.

Special warnings:

• This product has corrosive properties. Personal protective equipment should be worn.
• When combating, this product should be used at temperatures of 15 - 25 ° C.
