179 Metro-Dern 7500 – Metronidazole

Each syringe contains (w/v):

Metronidazole 7500 mg

METRODERN paste for the treatment of infections in horses caused by anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium spp, Bacteroides spp (incl penicillin resistance B. fragilis), Fusobacterium and protozoa such as Giardia and Trichomonas spp.

METRODERN paste for the treatment of infections where anaerobic bacteria are implicated or suspected such as pleuropneumonia, sinusitis, tooth root infections, enteritis and cases of metritis.

Horses Administer orally: 20mg of metronidazole per kg of bodyweight per 12 hours for 5 days.

Foals Administer orally: 10mg/kg every 12 hours.
