494 EXODERN – Fluralaner

Each 1 ml contains:

Fluralaner   10 mg

Exodern is a highly effective acaricide against poultry mites. It is a potent inhibitor of parts of the arthropod nervous system. It begins to work within four hours of the mites feeding on treated chickens, and subsequently stops egg production by female mites for 15 days after the first dose, disrupting the mite’s life cycle.

Exodern used for the treatment of poultry red mites (Dermanyssus gallina) in pullets, chickens for reproduction and layer hens.

Poultry: For use in drinking water: 0.05 ml of Exodern per kg of body weight (equivalent to 0.5 mg fluralaner) administered twice, 7 days apart. The complete course of treatment must be administered for a full therapeutic effect.

For each day of treatment, medicated water must be freshly prepared.

If another course of treatment is indicated, the interval between two courses of treatment should be at least 3 months.

Sheep, goats and cattle: 1 ml of exodern per 1 kg of body weight.
