Moxidern plus is effective medicine used for the treatment of mixed nematode and fluke infections in sheep, caused by moxidectin and triclabendazole sensitive strains such as:

• Gastro-intestinal nematodes (Adult, L4, Inhibited stage) such as: Haemonchus contortus, Teladorsagia circumcincta, Ostertagia trifurcata, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus, colubriformis ,Trichostrongylus vitrinus , Nematodirus battus , Nematodirus spathiger, Nematodirus filicolis, Strongyloides papillosus, Cooperia curticei, Cooperia oncophora, Oesophagostomum, columbianum, Oesophagostomum venulosum, Chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis.
• Respiratory tract nematode such as: Dictyocaulus filaria (Adult)
• Liver flukes such as :Fasciola hepatica (Adult, Early Immature, Late Immature).

Moxidern plus has a persistent efficacy and protects the sheep against infection or re-infection with parasites Teladorsagia circumcincta and Haemonchus contortus for indicated period of 35 days.

Target species: Sheep

Dosage AND ADMINISTRATION: 1 ml per 5 kg of body weight (0.2 mg moxidectin per Kg and 10 mg triclabendazole per kg bodyweight) direct into the mouth using any drenching equipment.

If animals are to be treated collectively rather than individually, they should be grouped according to their body weight and dosed accordingly, in order to avoid under- or overdosing.

WITHDRAWAL TIME: 

Meat and offal: 31 days

Milk: not permitted for use in sheep producing milk intended for human consumption.

Not permitted for use in pregnant dairy ewes within 2 months prior to parturition.
