490 MEIOXIDERN SUSPENSION – Meloxicam

Each tablet contains:

• Meloxicam: 1.5 mg

Meloxicdern is an anti-inflammatory drug, primarily used in dogs for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders.
It functions by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, leading to its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties.
Meloxicdern is also commonly used to alleviate post-operative pain following orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.

• Shake well before use.
  Initial dose: 0.2 mg meloxicam per kg of body weight on the first day.
  Maintenance dose: 0.1 mg meloxicam per kg of body weight once daily (at 24-hour intervals).

  Dosing procedure using the dropper:

  • Initial dose: 4 drops per kg of body weight.

  • Maintenance dose: 2 drops per kg of body weight.

  To be mixed with food or given directly into the mouth
