480 Floxidern

Each Capsule contains:

• Pefloxacin Mesylate 10 mg

Floxidern is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in birds.
Floxidern is indicated for treatment of gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections, including:

• Mycoplasmosis

• Paratyphoid (Salmonella) infections caused by bacteria susceptible to pefloxacin

• Chronic respiratory disease (CRD)

• Mixed bacterial infections

• Secondary bacterial infections due to viral diseases

• Pigeons: First day give orally 2 capsules, and in the second, third and fourth day give 1 capsule.

• Birds: 1 capsule in 50 ml of water daily for 3 consecutive days.
