FRODERN Paste Indicated for the prevention and management of Exercise-Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage (EIPH) in performance horses, including racehorses. Furosemide acts as a diuretic to reduce pulmonary vascular pressures associated with intense exercise.

FRODERN Paste for the treatment of cardiogenic pulmonary ederma in horses. This condition is characterized by fluid buildup in the lungs due to heart failure. Furosemide works by promoting the excretion of excess fluid, improving respiratory function and reducing pulmonary congestion

Recommended dose: 2 gm paste for 100 kg of body weight (equivalent to 1.0 mg/kg body weight).

Administer 2 to 4 hours before strenuous exercise or racing, depending on veterinary advice.

For Cardiogenic Pulmonary Edema:

Recommended dose: 2 gm paste for 100 kg of body weight (equivalent to 1.0 mg/kg body weight) every 24-12 hours as needed.
