480 Floxidern

COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains:

Pefloxacin Mesylate           10 mg

Pefloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic, It works by inhibiting DNA gyrase bacterial enzyme, these are essential for DNA synthesis within the bacteria.

Floxidern is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in birds. Floxidern is indicated for treatment of gram positive and gram negative bacterial infections, including Mycoplasmosis or Paratyphoid (Salmonella) infections caused by bacteria susceptible to pefloxacin, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), mixed bacterial infections, and secondary bacterial infections due to viral diseases.

Pigeons: First day give orally 2 tablets and in the second, third and fourth day give 1 tablet.

Birds: 1 tablet in 50 ml of water for 3 consecutive days.

WARNINGS:

Do not use for birds during incubation period.

STORAGE:

Store in a dry place away from humidity and direct heat (below 30 ℃).
